Alex Walkinshaw was born 5 October, 1974 in Barking, London. He is an English actor who plays Sgt. Dale Smith in The Bill, DS Small in McCallum, Pearce in A Touch of Frost, he has also been in Casualty and Holby City where he played staff nurse Adrian Fletcher. He also played a character on Waterloo Road.
