DAC Roy Pearson was a character who appeared in The Bill between 2004 and 2005. He is the father in law of DI Neil Manson. He retired when he was suspected of using rentboys in early 2005, after a rumor was first heard in early 2004. He returned in mid 2005 and was implicated in another case, but was being blackmailed over a tape of him with a rentboy. When he tried to retrieve the tape he was stabbed, and later died of his injuries. Pearson was portrayed by Adam Bareham.
