Robert Pugh was born 11 October, 1950 in Aberdare, Rhondda Cynon Taf. He is a Welsh actor who played D.I. Roy Galloway in Woodentop and he also made another appearance in The Bill in 1995, John Clarke in Brookside, Andrew Ponting in Casualty, Sapper Powell in Danger UXB, Geoff Harris - Prison Officer in Inspector Morse, Danny McCrea in Resort to Murder, Father Matthew in The Lakes, Alan Preston in Clocking Off, Frank Gorley in Hustle, DS Alun Simms in Prime Suspect, Stephen Harrington in Silent Witness and Jack Reynolds in Doctor Foster. He has also been in Priest, Drovers' Gold, Dangerfield, Where the Heart Is, Ordinary Lies, Shameless, Score, Engima, French and Saunders, The Secret World of Michael Fry, Plots with a View, Helen West and Torchwood.
