D.I. Noble
Detective Inspector Noble was a Metropolitan Police Officer serving in the Stolen Vehicles Unit.
In June 1997 she was conducting an ongoing investigation into Pete Gapper when D.C. Tosh Lines was observed trying to buy a stolen vehicle from him. Noble visited Sun Hill and met with Chief Superintendent Charles Brownlow and D.C.I. Jack Meadows, explaining that Gapper had slipped through the net on a previous case so she was building a larger portfolio of stolen vehicle sales to ensure a conviction. It was agreed that Lines was to stop his own investigation.

Lines informed Meadows and Noble that Gapper had told him he was leaving the area soon after another car sale and as Lines was awaiting a call back from Gapper it was agreed that he could officially go undercover with surveillance from Noble and Sun Hill CID in an attempt to arrest him before he left the area.

Noble and Meadows observed the sting from a secret location and Gapper was ultimately arrested after pulling a gun on Lines. (Lucky Day)
