Nate got a shock when colleague Beth Green made a move on him on her last day, walking in on him whilst he was changing. Beth told him she fancied him and wanted to be with him, but just as he was about to admit his feelings, Beth told him she was setting him up, having been goaded into doing it as a joke by Mel Ryder and Millie Brown. - Smithy getting stabbed: Nate had to live with the guilt after he was forced to split up from sgt smith when two thugs made a run for it and smithy was stabbed with minor injuries. When smithys stabber's mate was brought in pc roberts lost his temper and tackled him to the ground.
