Mrs Hacker

Mrs Hacker was the next door neighbour of the Chandler family for many years as far back as to the childhoods of Tom Chandler and his brother James.

In August 2002, Tom visited his childhood home to see his father and approached Mrs Hacker who reminisced about the Chandler boys playing in the street. She remembered James as an adorable boy and teased Tom for not being married with children.

At this point, the old Chandler home had been sold (as Tom discovered on his arrival) with Mrs Hacker confirming it had been for around two months. She commented on her confusion that Tom's father hadn't mentioned this to him as they had always been so close.

Tom wished Mrs Hacker his best and departed. (Episode 039)
