Martin Marquez was born 8 October, 1964 in Coventry, Warwickshire. He is a British actor who played DS Danny Pearce in The Bill, he has also appeared in Empire, Lead Balloon, Twenty Twelve, In Suspicious Circumstances, Desmond's, SunTrap, Falcon, Benidorm, Plastic Man, Dirty Tricks, Heartbeat, EastEnders, The Job Lot, Bedtime, Soldier Soldier, Murder Most Horrid, Waking the Dead, The Catherine Tate Show, New Tricks, Elizabeth I, Hotel Babylon, Doc Martin and Vera.

He is the older brother of John Marquez in his family tree.
