John Lyons was born 14 September, 1943 in Stepney, London. He is an English actor who portrayed DS George Toolan in A Touch of Frost, Dennis in The Nineteen Hole, he has also been in The Bill, Z Cars, Softly Softly, The Sweeney, UFO, The Onedin Line, Upstairs, Downstairs, Harry, Doctors, and Action Jackson.
