Jonathan Hackett is an English actor who appeared in Coronation Street as Mr Robbins, Jenny Bradley's college adviser at Manchester Polytechnic in 1990.
He also appeared in Secret Army, Minder, Brookside, The District Nurse, Shelley, Agatha Christie's Poirot, City of Vice, Watching, Strathblair, Middlemarch, Goodnight Sweetheart, Soldier Soldier, The Bill, Heartbeat, Kavanagh QC, Foyle's War, Ultimate Force, Midsomer Murders and The Brief.
Film roles include A Bridge Too Far, Wings of Fame, Crossing the Line, Breaking the Waves and My Brother Tom.
On stage he appeared in Bleak House, A Man For All Seasons, Dinner and A Conversation.
His radio work includes Murder on the Home Front, Fair Maid of the West and Mother Teresa in Kilburn.
