Trudie Goodwin was born 13 November, 1951 in Lewisham, London. She is a British actress who played WPC/Sgt. June Ackland in The Bill from 1984 to 2007. She has also appeared in Heartbeat and Three Up, Two Down. She is married to Kit Jackson and they have two daughters Jessica and Eleanor; the latter is better known as the pop singer La Roux.
