Ruth Gemmell was born 2 January, 1967 in Darlington, County Durham. She is an English actress who played Linda Cummings in Waking the Dead, Katherine Kavanagh in Primeval, Carol Evans in The Bill, she has also been in Dalziel and Pascoe, A Touch of Frost, Kavanagh QC, Holby City, Peak Practice, Spooks, Blue Dove, Mindsomer Murders, Agatha Christie: Poirot, Silent Witness, and EastEnders.
