The trial for the murder of Carly Samuels kicks off with Julian Ford representing the prosecution, and an old flame from Grace's past, Sunil Davdra, representing Fox and Morientes. Leanne is angered that fault lies with Dwayne, as he was supportive towards her during the case. Joel Pearce stands up and says his statement is a lie after Tito threatens him whilst he was on remand. Nate arrests a thug, Raheem Woods, who asks a homeless man to beat up his pregnant wife. However, Woods smashes his face off of his cell wall, then gets released and winds up the Jasmine Allen residents about police brutality. As Smithy convinces Alisha to testify in place of Joel, but thugs are getting wound up as Smithy speeds off the estate in the IRV. As they drive to court a car appears on Smithy's tail and after ramming the back of the car, the IRV flips and rolls over.
