We Could Be Heroes is the 317th episode of The Bill.
P.C. Stamp and P.C. Quinnan arrive at the scene of an accident when a woman has been injured, and the car which hit her has left the scene. When the ambulance is delayed, they rush the woman to hospital in the Area Car. An angry man at the scene later complains to Insp. Monroe, claiming they were negligent. Stamp and Quinnan track down the driver of the car, who is a sales rep who hopes to be banned from driving.
