June is days away from retirement but finds herself leading a serious corruption scandal when Aldbourne resident Frank Harris assaults property developer Brian Stevens, but emails don't only implicate council board members, but DAC Hobbs, whose name crops up in an email she sent to Stevens. June is run off the road when she finds evidence. Diane and Nikki investigate a string of robberies. June discovers Hobbs and Heaton's affair. Heaton is kicked out by his wife.
