The Tourist Trap is the 165th episode of The Bill.
D.C. Dashwood and W.P.C. Ackland are posing as tourists on a guided tour of a graveyard. A hotel is staked out: P.C. Garfield and D.C. Carver are waiting in a bathroom, D.S. Greig is in the linen cupboard, while P.C. Stamp in in the bar, where he is approached by a prostitute. The tour guide is tipping off a thief as to the room numbers of those on the tour so that he can raid their rooms.
W.P.C. Datta deals with a lady in a restaurant who won't pay her bill. The woman gets Insp. Frazer wound up when she won't respond to any questions. She appears to be in shock and doesn't recognize her husband.
P.C. Hollis and P.C. Melvin notice a woman in a phone box when her young son is kicking it. They are later called to her flat, where she has been the victim of a scam, and a large sum of money has been stolen. P.C. Edwards and W.P.C. Ford have a similar case to deal with. Both women have had big wins at a bookies.
