The Sorcerer's Apprentice is the 391st episode of The Bill.
D.C.I. Reid tries to overcome the continuing clash of personalities with D.I. Burnside, but finds support from the Assistant Commissioner. D.S. Roach has problems when a juvenile prisoner lies about his age, then has an epileptic fit in his cell. D.C. Carver finds himself in a conflict of loyalties: Reid wants him to finish a report, but Roach pushes him to interview his prisoner before Burnside drags him around after a suspected armed robber named Carson.
