Reluctance is the 2138th episode of The Bill.
A student at Rod's school is reluctant to talk about who wounded him with a knife. Diane is annoyed, stuck searching through CCTV footage with a sick Reg. Gina and Smithy search for an absconded prisoner. Diane and Reg's trawling eventually gives the team a lead, linking the incident to the disappearance of the prisoner, last seen stealing bandages from a chemist's shop, but is the stabbing related to the absconder? The sight of Gina in her glad rags prompts June to wish for early retirement.
