Plato for Policeman is the 278th episode of The Bill.
A building site night watchman complains about illegal dumping on the site. PC Loxton pulls out a video from a bag. DS Roach and DC Lines visit a supposedly reformed thief, whose van was involved in a burglary. Ch. Supt. Brownlow, Ch. Insp. Conway and DS Greig attend a principles of policing meeting at the police college. DCI Meadows is also in attendance. Greig got the highest marks, and Brownlow thinks it was all a waste of money. WPC Ackland and PC Hollis investigate the non-appearance of neighbours and find a woman bound and gagged in her bedroom. She was the victim of a burglary.
