Old Wounds is the 283th episode of The Bill.
P.C. Stamp stops the driver of an American car. The driver's father recently died in custody: he had had a heart attack while being interviewed by D.C. Carver. Ch. Supt. Brownlow wants to minimise the damage. While D.S. Roach is investigating the circumstances which led to the man's arrest a lorry is stolen.
W.P.C. Datta talks to a shopkeeper about stolen fireworks and deals with an old lady who doesn't want to move out of her house, even though it is a target for vandals.
