Market Forces is the 285th episode of The Bill.

P.C. Garfield and P.C. Quinnan are on cycle patrol and catch a youth in the act of stealing a car radio. The boy is homeless, and there is an investigation to find out to whom he is supplying the stolen goods. Matters are complicated when the owner of the car refuses to make a statement.
