Information Received is the 218th episode of The Bill.
When D.S. Roach's case against Mickey Owen, a protection racketeer, is thrown out of court, Roach comes under pressure from the Flying Squad to convince Roxanne, his transvestite informant, to give evidence against Owen. Roach is reluctant, as Roxanne was badly beaten when he failed to protect her the last time she gave evidence. In spite of this, Roxanne finally agrees to testify, considering she has nothing left to lose.

Final of three appearances of Roxanne as played by Paul O'Grady. The character would be played by George Costigan on her return in the 2000 episodes Old Enemies and New Friends.
First appearance of Mickey Owen, he would return ten years later in Old Enemies and New Friends.
This episode was released on VHS in the UK by Clear Vision on The Roach Files in 1997. The episode was edited to remove the break bumpers. The episode was then released again in the UK by Network Distributing on The Bill - Volume Eight in 2015 with the break bumpers intact.
