Chasing Shadows is the 1392nd episode of The Bill.
Plot[]
Sgt. Boyden and P.C. Santini organise a raid on a Turkish café, where suspected illegal gambling is taking place. However, during the raid, a Turkish-speaking undercover officer from SO10 disappears without trace. Meanwhile, D.S. Daly and D.C. Carver attend the scene of a drug-related death on the Jasmine Allen Estate, where the only clue to the identity of the girl's dealer is a set of house keys. D.C.I. Meadows leads an operation to rescue the missing undercover officer, but manages to tread on the toes of the Area Drugs Squad, who have been working for over a year on a major operation. Meadows sends Santini undercover to deliver the drugs to the suppliers, but finds himself conned by an unsuspecting source.
