Episode 273 is the 1933th episode of The Bill.
Irene takes Gina hostage and drives her to a safehouse while planning her next move. Gina is in no doubt she's in very real danger, but as the two women talk, they begin to realise they have more in common than they could possibly have thought. Meanwhile, Honey accuses Steve of being as bad as his brother, while Phil gets short shrift from Sam. As Irene tries to leave the country, SO19 swarm her friend's airfield, but before they can arrest Irene Rob Thatcher appears and shoots her dead avenging his father's murder. Despite pleading from both DS Phil Hunter and DC Ken Drummond to drop the gun, Rob refuses to surrender, point the gun at the SO19 officers who are then forced to open fire.
