Plot[]
PC Des Taviner finds a terrified, shoeless man running for his life. But what is he running from, and will Des manage to get through to him?
When the man, Tai Chou is taken by Des to the station, Debbie is keen for him to identify a man in a photo. But why is the interpreter Mai Ann Wey so ardent that Tai Chou has never seen the face in the photo before?
Father Kwong is the Chinese Catholic priest who Des seeks out in desperation. Des urgently needs his assistance and implores the priest to help him. But can this holy man aid Des while also remaining loyal to his congregation by protecting them?
DC Mickey Webb can't believe his luck when Ron Gregory lands back in their lap. Perhaps now they can re-ignite their investigations into his possible involvement into the paedophile ring. But Ron is clever and Mickey Webb is not officially working on this case. And Mickey Webb makes a startling discovery when trailing Mansell, a paedophile associate of Ron Gregory - surely his own boss, Supt. Okaro, can't be involved?
It's the first day of Loanna's court case and all seem visibly moved by her haunting testimony. But will her volatile friend Beth be as credible or could PC Kerry Young's hard work in bringing this case to court soon be in vain?
