A man comes into the station claiming to have information on the serial killer. DC Lennox and Acting DI Nixon set up an observation at his house, but the man has other ideas.
TDC Kane and PC Bradford deal with a teenage tearaway who has set fire to her stepmother's belongings. DCs Drummond and Sharpe deal with the consequences when she accuses her father of being involved with smuggling.
Supt. Chandler tracks down his friends from Hendon to discuss the night of the infamous party, but DCI Meadows and DC Webb are following him.
