Following Jamila Blake's departure in 1999, Di arrived as her replacement.
- 2000 - Goes undercover as a prostitute to uncover an assault on a punter
In 2000, Di went undercover as a prostitute on Barrack Lane after a series of punters were assaulted and robbed, the most recent of which resulted in the punter being sliced across the face with a knife.
- 2002 - Killed in the Sun Hill fire
Shortly following the death of Chief Inspector Derek Conway, the station was attacked by a gang of rioters who started throwing petrol bombs. Di was in the CID office with PC Sam Harker, PC Ben Hayward, DC Paul Riley and DC Kate Spears at the time of the riot. She was killed instantly.
