The Community Saftey Unit (aka C.S.U. / CSU) consisted of officers from CID amd Uniform, but were on duty in Plain-clothes.
The C.S.U. is no longer used on The Bill.It was merged with Sun Hill PPU to make Sun Hill VPU.

The loctaion of the old CSU office is now one of the two CID offfices.It is above the front desk.
