The Community Safety Unit (aka C.S.U. / CSU) consisted of officers from CID and Uniform, but were on duty in Plain-clothes.
It was merged with Sun Hill PPU to make Sun Hill VPU.When Ramani was A/DI she requested to A/DCI Manson to change the name back to the Sun Hill Community Safety Unit

The location of the old CSU office is now one of the two CID offices. It is above the front desk.
