Maureen Beattie was born 27 October, 1953 in Bundorran, Country Donegal, Ireland. She is an Scottish actress who played Jane Fitzwilliam in The Bill, Anna Crozier in Wing and a Prayer , Mrs. Alice Costigan in Bramwell , Gemma Marshall in The Chief , and Sandra Nicholl in Casualty .
Prior to her recurring role as Jane Fitzwilliam, Beattie guest starred in the 1991 episode Your Shout as Mrs Henderson.
