William Armstrong was born 6 June, 1954 in Montreal, Quebec. He is a Canadian actor who played Lydecker in the extended Special Edition of Aliens. Aliens was Armstrong's first film role. Other notable films he has appeared in include La Vie en Rose (2007) and The Dark Knight (2008). Aside from his work in film, Armstrong has had an extensive career in British television including The Bill.
