Amanda arrives at Sun Hill with a poor reputation. She manages to live up to her reputation; her autocratic style and her tendency to take credit for the work of other officers, which earned her many enemies, particularly Inspector Gina Gold; who she told Chief Superintendent Ian Barrett about her drinking on duty the night before; Amanda was sent to Sun Hill as an Acting Superintendent whilst Adam Okaro is on bereavement leave; however on Sun Hill's 50th Anniversary (Live Episode 349) When a number of CID officers were taken hostage in the station, Amanda then realizes that Sun Hill was Supt. Okaro's station and handed over her radio, she was last seen leaving the station with her belongings, helped by one of the Constables.
